With the news that Mats Hummels will be out until the New Year, Jurgen Klopp could hand a start to new signing Manuel Friedrich at centre-back.

Franck Ribery has been ruled out of the game for the visitors, which could see Mario Gotze start against his old side on his return to Signal Iduna Park.
