Borussia Dortmund have come from behind to lead Hannover 2-1 at the half-time interval of their Bundesliga meeting.
After a tight start to the match, it was Hannover who broke the deadlock in the 18th minute when Hiroshi Kiyotake picked out Artur Sobiech, who kept his composure to fire home from close range.
Dortmund were gifted the opportunity to find an equaliser when poor marking allowed Marcel Schmelzer to collect the ball on the edge of the box, but his weak effort was easily saved by Ron-Robert Zieler.
Another chance arrived for Thomas Tuchel's side when Felipe was adjudged to have brought down Jonas Hofmann inside the box as Dortmund piled the pressure on.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang took on the responsibility from 12 yards and slotted the penalty in to get his side back on level terms.
Dortmund then ensured they would be leading at the break when Matthias Ginter carried the ball forward on the wing before finding Henrikh Mkhitaryan, whose emphatic finish left Zieler helpless.
