Chelsea youngster Gael Kakuta is keen to make the most of his loan spell with Bolton Wanderers.

Gael Kakuta has urged Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle to give him more playing time during his spell at the Reebok Stadium.

The 20-year-old, who joined Wanderers on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea in August, has yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Trotters.

"I don't really feel like I have had a chance to show people what I am capable of in the Premier League," he told the Bolton Echo. "I came here to play. No player likes to be sitting on the bench.

"I understand that you have to earn your place and I'm confident in my own ability and know that I will make the most of this opportunity."

Kakuta joined Chelsea in 2007 from French club RC Lens.
