Half-Time Report: Bolton Wanderers held by 10-man Bournemouth at the break

Bolton are being held 0-0 by 10-man Bournemouth after Yan Kermorgant was sent off.

Bolton Wanderers are being held 0-0 at the Macron Stadium by 10-man Bournemouth.

Bolton started the game at the foot of the table and without Dougie Freedman, who left the club on Friday.

It was the home side, who have only won one game in their last seven, that started the quicker with Craig Davies immediately testing Simon Francis who could only parry away to his grateful defenders.

The Cherries weathered the early flurry from the hosts, however, and gradually began to control the game.

Yan Kermorgant was allowed to unleash a shot from the edge of the Bolton area, which Andy Lonergan could only palm away for a corner.

Kermorgant was involved again 10 minutes before the break, this time for all the wrong reasons. He was shown a deserved red card for an elbow on Mark Davies during a messy clash.
