Sergei Zenjov completes Blackpool transfer

Blackpool sign Estonian international Sergei Zenjov from FC Karpaty Lviv on a free transfer.

Blackpool boss Jose Riga has made Estonian striker Sergei Zenjov his first signing at Bloomfield Road.

Riga was brought in to replace Barry Ferguson at the end of last season, and the Belgian has decided to add more firepower to a team that struggled in the Championship during the last campaign.

Zenjov, who has 32 international caps to his name, has been acquired on a free transfer from FC Karpaty Lviv after six years with the Ukrainian side.

The 25-year-old, who can also operate on the wing, scored 23 goals in 139 appearances for Lviv.
