Blackpool boss Ian Holloway 'to talk to chairman over Crystal Palace approach'

Ian Holloway will reportedly hold discussions with Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston over his future following interest from Crystal Palace.

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway will reportedly hold talks with chairman Karl Oyston regarding the interest from Crystal Palace.

The 49-year-old is believed to be the strong favourite to take the managerial vacancy at Selhurst Park, with reports claiming that the Eagles have made an official approach for the boss.

It is understood that Holloway will meet with Oyston, who has yet to allow Palace the chance to speak to the Seasiders' coach, regarding his position at Bloomfield Road, according to BBC Sport.

Palace have been searching for a new manager following Dougie Freedman's decision to move to Bolton Wanderers.
