Blackpool are 45 minutes away from winning their first League One game of the season after Jack Redshaw gave the Tangerines the lead against Burton Albion.
The Brewers, looking to bounce back from their defeat at Barnsley on Saturday, looked to compound Blackpool's misery early on as Abdenasser El Khayati's shot from the edge of the area flew just over Kyle Letheren's bar.
On 11 minutes, Albion again threatened to break through the Tangerines rearguard as Calum Butcher, recalled for this game by manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, saw his strike blocked. Soon after, Mark Duffy also tried his luck from distance, but never troubled the Blackpool keeper.
The home side's first effort of note came on 13 minutes when Henry Cameron blazed over Jon McLaughlin's crossbar before striker Mark Cullen followed suit within moments.
Neil McDonald's side started to enjoy better opportunities in attacking areas and took the lead on 26 minutes when Cameron teed up Redshaw, who rifled the ball home from close range.
Burton had chances to equalise before half time, with Timmy Thiele and Shane Cansdell-Sherriff having efforts saved by Letheren.
However, Cullen nearly doubled Blackpool's advantage moments before the break when his strike was stopped by McLaughlin.
