Morten Gamst Pedersen joins Turkish outfit Kardemir Karabukspor

Morten Gamst Pedersen joins Turkish club Kardemir Karabukspor on a two-year deal following nine years at Blackburn Rovers.

Morten Gamst Pedersen has left Blackburn Rovers after nine years at Ewood Park for Turkish outfit Kardemir Karabukspor.

The 31-year-old was told by the Championship outfit at the end of the season that he was free to leave the club as manager Gary Bowyer did not consider the midfielder to be part of his plans.

While Pedersen had been linked to FC Copenhagen, BBC Sport reports that the midfielder has signed a two-year contract with Karabukspor.

Pederson was publicly criticised last season by Blackburn's global adviser Shebby Singh.
