Preview: Millwall vs. Blackburn Rovers

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Championship match between in-form Blackburn Rovers and struggling Millwall at The Den.

Blackburn Rovers will be looking to secure a fourth consecutive win when they travel to The Den to face Millwall in the Championship on Tuesday.

Gary Bowyer's side sit just one place off the playoff spots and four points off the top of the table following their 3-1 win over Reading at the weekend.

Rudy Gestede should keep his place in the side having scored a brace against the Royals to take his goal tally to eight for the season, making him the club's top scorer.

The visitors may be without Lee Williamson for the trip, though, after he was forced off at half time on Saturday, with Ryan Tunnicliffe filling in for the second half.

Meanwhile, Millwall have won just one of their last 10 outings to slip to 16th in the table and are just five points clear of the drop zone.

Ian Holloway's side had been unbeaten in October, with a run of three draws and a win against Cardiff City, but they started November with a 3-1 defeat to league leaders Watford.

The Lions manager has said that he intends to make changes to his side for this match, revealing that he is likely to rest Matthew Briggs and Scott Malone.

However, Lee Gregory should be fit to return after sitting out Saturday's match with a minor knock, while Mark Beevers is likely to come in alongside Danny Shittu.

This fixture last season ended in a 2-2 draw, while Blackburn finished with 10 men on the pitch.
