Jacques Maghoma pens deal at Birmingham City

Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Jacques Maghoma signs a two-year deal at Birmingham City.

Birmingham City have completed the signing of Jacques Maghoma on a free transfer.

Earlier this month, Maghoma was released by Sheffield Wednesday, despite making 66 appearances during his two years at Hillsborough.

However, the 27-year-old has been handed a two-year contract at St Andrew's as Gary Rowett looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the new campaign.

Before joining Sheffield Wednesday, Maghoma made 166 league appearances during a four-year spell at Burton Albion, with his final 12 months at the club spent playing under Rowett.
