Team News: Demarai Gray replaces Lloyd Dyer in one Birmingham City change

Gary Rowett makes one change to his Birmingham City side for the visit of Middlesbrough, with Demarai Gray taking Lloyd Dyer's place on the left.

Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett has made one change to his starting lineup for tonight's visit of Middlesbrough as the Blues try to end a six-game winless streak.

It comes on the left wing as youngster Demarai Gray gets the nod over Lloyd Dyer, who drops to the bench.

New loan signing Rob Kiernan is also on the bench after joining from Wigan Athletic.

Boro, meanwhile, know that avoiding defeat tonight will guarantee them top spot in the Championship as they currently sit level with Bournemouth and Derby County on 59 points.

Aitor Karanka makes three changes to the side that were beaten 2-0 at Arsenal in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday.

In come Adam Forshaw, Emilio Nsue, who makes his first appearance since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, and Jelle Vossen for Adam Clayton, Albert Adomah and Kike.

Birmingham: Randolph; Caddis, Spector, Robinson, Grounds; Davis, Gleeson; Cotterill, Shinnie, Gray; Donaldson
Subs: Doyle, Thomas, Novak, Kiernan, Reilly, Zigic, Dyer

Boro: Konstantopoulos; Fredericks, Omeruo, Gibson, Friend; Leadbitter, Forshaw; Nsue, Tomlin, Vossen; Bamford
Subs: Mejias, Clayton, Adomah, Husband, Whitehead, Kike, Reach
