Birmingham have managed to grab a late draw against a Barnsley, drawing 1-1 at St Andrews.
The visitors went ahead in the 33rd minute, midfielder Jacob Butterfield firing home from long range.
It seemed that the Tykes would hold out for a second away win of the season until Chris Burke rescued the Blues.
The ball broke to the Scot on the edge of the area and the midfielder turned and fired a low shot that appeared to take a deflection on its way past Luke Steele in the Barnsley goal.
Birmingham drop one place to 16th while Barnsley remain a further place back in 17th.
