Birmingham fail to secure their seventh straight win at home against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Birmingham City were unable to secure their seventh straight win in their goalless draw with Brighton & Hove Albion at St. Andrews.

The home side started brightly after Chris Burke's early cross fell to striker Marlon King. However, the former Coventry City star couldn't keep his powerful shot from missing the target.

Both sides made a pair of substitutions in the second half, but Birmingham's inability to hit the target even once kept them from breaking the deadlock.

Brighton's Craig Mackail-Smith had an opportunity in the final minute to put the away team in front, but sent his shot sailing over the crossbar.
