Sports Mole looks ahead to this weekend's Championship meeting between Birmingham City and Ipswich Town, who play under new manager Mick McCarthy for the first time.

Ipswich Town face a tough battle when they travel to St Andrew's to take on Birmingham City in the Championship this weekend.

The Tractor Boys have a new manager at the helm in the form of ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Mick McCarthy, who was confirmed as Paul Jewell's replacement today.

Ipswich currently remain at the bottom the table following four straight defeats, while the Blues head into the clash on the back of a 1-0 win over Leeds United.

Birmingham goalkeeper Jack Butland should keep his place in the starting lineup under manager Lee Clark, despite the shot-stopper suggesting that he could leave the club in the summer, while Dudley Campbell should keep his forward role this weekend.

Recent form:

Birmingham: LLDDW

Ipswich: DLLLL

Possible lineups:

Birmingham: Butland; Robinson, Davies, Caldwell, Murphy; Redmond, Morrison, Mullins, Elliot; King, Lita

Ipswich: Henderson; Edwards, Chambers, Higginbotham, Cresswell; Carson, Wellens, Hyam, Martin; Murphy, Campbell

Sports Mole says: 1-0
