Preview: Birmingham City vs. Bolton Wanderers

Sports Mole looks ahead to this weekend's Championship match between Birmingham City and Bolton Wanderers.

Birmingham City can secure two wins on the bounce if they defeat struggling Bolton Wanderers at St Andrew's this weekend.

Lee Clark's men managed to secure a 4-0 win over Millwall in midweek, but a victory was hard to come by for the Blues having lost three, drawn one and won just a single game in their last five matches.

Birmingham sit just 17th in the league table after 10 games, but it's a more dismal situation for Bolton, whose manager Dougie Freedman is under pressure.

The Trotters coach has witnessed his team lose three and draw three in their last six matches, leaving them second from bottom in the table.

The former Premier League side have also struggled to find the back of the net having just seven goals to their name so far in the campaign.

In terms of the teams, Andrew Shinnie could keep his place in the starting lineup for the home side, with Jesse Lingard expected to provide an attacking threat for the Blues, while Bolton could stick with new boy Neil Danns.
