Real Betis have moved to the top of La Liga with a 4-3 win at home to Real Zaragoza.

Roque Santa Cruz gave the home side the lead after seven minutes before Salva Sevilla doubled their lead five minutes later from the penalty spot.

Efrain Juarez made it 2-1 at the break, but Betis increased their advantage two minutes after the restart when Benat Etxebarria slotted home another penalty for the hosts.

Santa Cruz was on hand two minutes later to make it 4-1 with a headed effort.

Betis goalkeeper Castro Barriga was sent off on 70 minutes after pulling down Luis Garcia outside of the area, and the visitors capitalised on the numerical advantage with Juan Carlos Perez scoring a late brace, but Betis held on for the win.
