Eden Hazard: 'My best is yet to come at World Cup'

Eden Hazard declares that his best is yet to come at the 2014 World Cup as Belgium prepare to take on USA in the last 16.

Belgium forward Eden Hazard has declared that his best is yet to come at the World Cup as he prepares to face USA in the last 16 of the competition.

The Red Dragons have failed to truly shine on the world stage with three slender victories so far at Brazil 2014, while Hazard openly admits that he has lacked consistency during the tournament.

However, ahead of tomorrow's showdown in Salvador, the 22-year-old says that he will 'take inspiration' from the likes of Lionel Messi, James Rodriguez and Neymar who have each starred during the showpiece event.

"Have I been impressed by Messi, Neymar and Rodriguez? Of course I have been and I know there are many good players in my position," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com.

"I have looked at what the other stars have done and try to take as much inspiration from them as possible. As for my tournament so far, I rate it at 50-50.

"I have been decisive for the group but, in terms of consistency, I can do better. I hope it will be the case from now on but I know you will see the best Eden."

Belgium topped Group H with nine points from three games.
