Bastian Schweinsteiger 'in no rush' to extend Bayern Munich deal

Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger insists that he is not concerned that his current deal with the German champions has just 18 months to run.

German international Bastian Schweinsteiger has insisted that he is not in a hurry to extend his current deal with Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old, who has won seven Bundesliga titles with Bayern, will be out of contract next summer.

However, the midfielder is confident that he will remain with the German outfit for the next "three or four years".

"I have no pressure," he told Sport 1. "I know what Bayern Munich means to me and Bayern Munich also knows what they have in me. We know each other very well.

"I feel very good again and I have gathered a lot of experience. I aim to play for three or four years at the highest level."

Schweinsteiger has been with Bayern since 1998.
