Thomas Muller has described Pep Guardiola's first training session in charge of Bayern Munich as "positive".

The former Barcelona coach got pre-season training for the European champions underway in front of thousands of fans at the Allianz Arena earlier today.

The midfielder told Sport1: "It was interesting, the impressions were positive.

"It was a good first meeting. He spoke well to us and we had a good session, so I'm very happy."

The squad will train at the Allianz Arena again tomorrow before moving to their Sabener Strasse facilities.
