New Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola insists that the club do not need too many new players this summer.

New Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed that he is not in the market for "a lot of transfers" this summer.

The German champions have been linked with a number of new signings in recent weeks, but the former Barcelona coach is content with the current squad.

"In my opinion a team does not need a lot of transfers when you have just won four titles. The team is already pretty good," he told reporters at a press conference on Monday.

"But I don't know how Matthias Sammer, [Karl-Heinz] Rummenigge and Uli Hoeness feel about that."

Bayern have already signed Mario Gotze and Jan Kirchhoff this summer.
