Toni Kroos: Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich will play "slightly different system"

Toni Kroos reveals that there will be slight alterations to the way Bayern Munich play under Pep Guardiola.

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has revealed that the club will be using a slightly altered system under new coach Pep Guardiola.

The Bavarian giants won the treble last season under previous coach Jupp Heynckes, but despite that Kroos said that Guardiola will be aiming for a more attacking style of football.

"[Guardiola's is] a slightly different system," Kroos told Bundesliga.com.

"Basically, one of the holding midfielders pushes further forward, so we're a bit more attack-orientated.

"The important thing, and what we're aiming for, is to always be adaptable and in a position to control the midfield."

Kroos has made 101 league appearances for Bayern and 35 for Germany.
