Team News: Emre Can starts at left-back for Bayer Leverkusen

Emre Can is selected in an unfamiliar left-back position for Bayer Leverkusen.

Emre Can has been asked to fill in at left-back by Bayer Leverkusen coach Sami Hyypia for the trip to Hertha Berlin.

Gonzalo Castro, Simon Rolfes and Lars Bender start in midfield for Bayer, who also have a familiar-looking attack with Stefan Kiessling leading the line.

For the side from the capital Adrian Ramos is named as the lone striker and he will be closely supported by Anis Ben-Hatira and Sami Allagui from wide.

Hertha: Kraft; Pekarik, Langkamp, Lustenberger, Van den Bergh; Hosogai, Cigerci; Allagui, Skjelbred, Ben-Hatira; Ramos

Bayer: Leno; Donati, Toprak, Wollscheid, Can; Bender, Rolfes, Castro; Son, Sam, Kiesslingstefan
