Barracas Central and San Lorenzo are currently level on points in the Argentine Primera Division, and they are set to compete this Sunday in a bid to push up the league table.
The hosts are without a victory in their previous four encounters, while the visitors head into this one in the midst of a seven-match unbeaten streak.
Match preview
Barracas Central have found the second phase of the Argentine Primera Division a tricky one as they have failed to win a single game in this section of the campaign.
The past five results have seen them drop down into 19th, with their defensive performances having been an issue throughout this season as they have conceded the most goals in the league at this stage.
Alfredo Berti's team were held to a 1-1 draw in their most recent outing, which was an improvement on the 3-1 loss that they suffered prior to that at the hands of Boca Juniors.
With no wins in their previous five matches, there is pressure on the squad to get themselves back on track as they aim to push further up the table.
Barracas Central are currently level on points with their opponents this weekend, which means they have a direct opportunity to make progress if they are able to earn a positive result.
The visitors are enjoying a great run of form right now as they are undefeated in their previous seven matches, which is something they will be confident in continuing on Sunday.
Despite that, they have not progressed as far up the table as they could have done in that period due to the face that they have drawn five of those encounters.
One of those took place last weekend when they faced Tigre, but it was a positive one for San Lorenzo as they fought from behind with a goal from Adam Bareiro scoring the equaliser as the game finished 1-1.
Their previous away game did result in a 2-0 victory though with Ivan Leguizamon and Bareiro getting themselves on the scoresheet, showcasing their ability to cause attacking problems to others.
A win could potentially move them up five places in the Argentine Primera Division due to the tightness of the table right now, giving them plenty to play for.

Team News
Dylan Glaby could be an option for Barracas Central this weekend as he will be able to return from suspension if Berti wants to put him into the team.
Offensively Pablo Mouche and Nicolas Ferreyra are still searching for their first goals of the second round, and they will be hoping that they can change that on Sunday.
Bareiro is sure to be starting for the visitors as he has found a fine run of form personally as of late, proving to be a real goal threat for San Lorenzo.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the field the away side will likely continue to operate with just three at the back, which is a formation decision that has been working for them.
Barracas Central possible starting lineup:
Gagliardo; Mater, Ferreyra, Paz, Calderara; Arce, Blanco; Mouche, Tapa, Bandiera; Castro
San Lorenzo possible starting lineup:
Batalla; Gattoni, Lujan Melli, James; Giay, Elias, Rosane, Fernandez; Leguizamon, Bereiro, Braida
We say: Barracas Central 0-2 San Lorenzo
There might be nothing to separate these two teams in terms of points right now, but their form is vastly different and the confidence they are both bringing in will reflect that.
The visitors should be able to continue their undefeated run here, particularly considering the poor defensive record that the hosts have.
