Neymar fully recovered for Barcelona

Brazilian attacker Neymar participates in a full-contact training session with Barcelona on Monday morning.

Brazilian attacker Neymar participated in a full-contact training session with Barcelona on Monday morning, ending suggestions that he could miss the start of the season.

It had initially been feared that the 22-year-old would be out of action until 2015 after suffering a broken vertebra while representing his country at this summer's World Cup.

However, the former Santos forward joined the rest of his Barca teammates this morning and is expected to be fit for the start of the campaign.

New signing Jeremy Mathieu was also part of the main group.
