Report: Ricardo Rodriguez Barcelona's main target

A report claims that Barcelona want to sign Wolfsburg full-back Ricardo Rodriguez before the start of the 2016-17 campaign.

Wolfsburg full-back Ricardo Rodriguez is reportedly Barcelona's main defensive transfer target this summer.

The Spanish champions are expected to sign at least one full-back before the start of the new season after losing experienced Brazilian Dani Alves to Juventus.

AC Milan's Mattia De Sciglio and Manchester United's Matteo Darmian have both been linked with moves to Spain, but according to the Daily Mail, Rodriguez is Barcelona's main target in this summer's window.

The 23-year-old, who is also said to be on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs, joined Wolfsburg from Zurich in 2012.

This summer, the left-sided defender represented Switzerland at the European Championships.
