Report: Arsenal to move for Vicente Guaita

A report claims that Arsenal are preparing a move for Valencia goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly preparing a move for Valencia goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.

The 26-year-old, who is the Spanish club's vice-captain, has been linked with a move to La Liga champions Barcelona this summer.

However, according to Football Espana, Arsenal officials will travel to Spain this week to discuss terms with Valencia, who began their league season with a 1-0 win over Malaga at the weekend.

It is understood that the Gunners are looking for a new stopper this summer after some erratic performances from Wojciech Szczesny.
