Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar would take a pay cut in order to secure a return to Barcelona this summer, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar is reportedly willing to take a pay cut in order to secure a return to Barcelona during this summer's transfer window.

The Brazil international was strongly linked with a return to Camp Nou ahead of the 2019-20 campaign, but the Spanish champions could not come to an agreement with PSG over a fee.

The French giants are allegedly open to the South American leaving this summer, though, and Barca are still thought to be keen on his signature.

According to Sport, Neymar, who could command a transfer fee of £135m, is so determined to return to Catalonia that he is prepared to take a pay cut to leave the French capital.

The 28-year-old scored 105 goals in 186 appearances for Barca between 2013 and 2017 before moving to PSG, where he has won two Ligue 1 titles.

The attacker's current deal with Thomas Tuchel's team will run until June 2022.
