Marseille are reportedly planning a summer move for Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho.
The 28-year-old only made 14 appearances for the Catalan giants during the 2020-21 campaign, with a serious knee injury keeping him on the sidelines since the end of December.
A number of Premier League clubs are thought to be interested in the playmaker, who is currently recovering from a second knee operation in quick succession.
However, according to reports in Brazil, Marseille are now preparing an approach for the Brazil international, as the Ligue 1 outfit prepare to compete in next season's Europa League.
Les Olympiens boss Jorge Sampaoli is said to be a keen admirer of Coutinho, although it remains to be seen whether the French side are capable of meeting the South American's contract expectations.
Coutinho, who has a deal at Camp Nou until June 2023, has largely struggled to make his mark for Barcelona since joining the club in a big-money move from Liverpool at the start of 2018.
