Josep Bartomeu: 'Lionel Messi won't leave, he's just under pressure'

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu insists that Lionel Messi won't be leaving the Camp Nou and explains the striker is just 'under pressure'.

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu has insisted that Lionel Messi won't be leaving the Camp Nou and has said the forward is just 'under pressure'.

The Argentine star has dropped a few hints in regards to his Barca future, but both Messi's father and the club president dismiss the rumours.

"He will not go. He's happy, but he is suffering from a lot of sporting pressure," Bartomeu told reporters.

However, former Barcelona and current Argentina boss Gerardo Martino concedes that it isn't impossible for the striker to leave the Catalans.
