Barcelona reportedly have no interest in making a move for legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon when he leaves Juventus in the summer.
The 43-year-old announced on Tuesday that he will bring an end to his second spell with Juve when his contract expires next month.
Buffon has yet to decide whether to retire or continue his career for another season.
Reports from Spain indicated that Barcelona could be tempted to bring in the veteran stopper on a free, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano insists that is not the case.
Romano posted on Twitter: "Despite some rumours from Spain, there's absolutely nothing with Barcelona - not even talks."
Buffon won 10 Serie A titles with Juve and the Coppa Italia four times, while also winning the World Cup with Italy in 2006.
Barca are expected to focus mainly on free transfers in the summer window, with Memphis Depay and Eric Garcia both on their radar.
