Barcelona are to offer goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen a new-and-improved contract before the end of the season, according to a report.
The 27-year-old is approaching the end of his sixth campaign at Camp Nou, four of those as first-choice stopper.
Ter Stegen's importance has grown and it is claimed by ESPN that president Josep Maria Bartomeu is keen to tie him down for the long term.
Germany international Ter Stegen signed his most recent contract in 2017 and those terms still have another two years to run.
Barca are also said to be weighing up a new deal for Lionel Messi, while also preparing big-money bids for Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar and Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez.
