Barcelona have begun talks over a deal to sign AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, according to a report.
The 25-year-old is a regular for the Italian team, having made 20 appearances in Serie A, scoring five times, while he has also been featured in five Champions League games.
However, the Ivory Coast international is out of contract this summer, and he has already informed the club he will not be signing a new deal, which means he will be available for a free transfer.
According to SPORT, Barcelona have begun talks with Kessie to agree on a deal to sign the midfielder, and both parties have revealed their financial stance on a possible agreement.
It is believed that things are moving closer together between the player and club, although there is interest from both Arsenal and Everton in the Premier League.
Kessie has spent five seasons with AC Milan, but he refused their offer of an extension.
