Barcelona have reportedly identified Brentford winger Sergi Canos as a potential summer transfer target.
Having brought in several high-profile players in January, Xavi and club officials are currently planning the next stage of their rebuild as they look to challenge Real Madrid for the 2022-23 La Liga title.
A number of established Premier League players have been linked with a switch to Camp Nou, many of whom represent Chelsea, but it appears that the Catalan giants have also been assessing their options in a different part of West London.
According to Sport, Canos has surprising appeared on Barcelona's radar after impressing during Brentford's first season in England's top flight.
The 25-year-old, who is allegedly available for £8.5m, has made 30 appearances in a variety of wide positions, while the player is no stranger to Barcelona having spent much of his teens in the academy system.
Canos has just over a year remaining on his contract, although the Bees are said to possess an option where they could extend those terms by an extra 12 months.
