Barcelona consider Asmir Begovic swoop?

Barcelona have reportedly added Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic to their list of potential replacements for Victor Valdes this summer.

Spanish international Valdes has been widely tipped to leave Camp Nou at the end of the season following his recent revelations that he would not be signing a new contract with the club.

A number of keepers have been linked with the potential vacancy, including Manchester United's David de Gea and Pepe Reina of Liverpool.

However, Barca scouts have been impressed by Begovic's performances for Stoke this season and they could now make a £15m bid for the Bosnian international, according to The Mirror.

Begovic joined the Potters in 2010 from Portsmouth.
