Napoli defender Raul Albiol has revealed that he would "love" for the Italian side to bring Barcelona's Javier Mascherano to the club this summer.
Mascherano has a close relationship with Napoli boss Rafael Benitez, under whom the Argentine played during his time with Liverpool.
Reports have claimed that Benitez will make his move in the summer and now Albiol has put his weight behind of a possible transfer.
"I'd love that, we all know that he is a player of a very high level," the former Real Madrid defender told Corriere dello Sport.
Mascherano is primarily a central midfielder, but has been converted into a centre-back at the Camp Nou.
