Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta reportedly held a meeting with Celta Vigo boss Luis Enrique this morning.
The Spaniard, who represented Barcelona as a player from 1996 until 2004, took charge of the Catalan outfit's B side for three years from 2008 before pursuing a managerial career.
Gerardo Martino, as it stands, is still the manager of Barca, but it is understood that the two will go their separate ways this summer following a fairly disappointing campaign.
Talk of Enrique taking charge of the Spanish champions has gathered pace in recent weeks and, according to Mundo Deportivo, a meeting between Zubizarreta and Enrique has taken place.
Enrique has led Celta into ninth position in La Liga with two games remaining.
