Neymar cites Barcelona's 6-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain as his career highlight

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar fuels speculation over his future by admitting that Barcelona's famous 6-1 win over his current club is his best memory in football.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has further fuelled speculation over his future by admitting that Barcelona's 6-1 win over his current club in 2017 is the highlight of his career so far.

Neymar was a Barcelona player when the Spanish giants pulled off the biggest Champions League comeback of all time, beating PSG 6-1 at Camp Nou to progress through to the quarter-finals having lost the first leg 4-0.

The Brazilian was the star of the show too, scoring twice after the 88th minute to level things on aggregate before delivering the free kick from which Sergi Roberto scored the dramatic winner.

Neymar ended up joining PSG in a world-record £200m deal that summer, but he is reportedly desperate to return to Camp Nou amid growing tensions with the French outfit.

The 27-year-old has now risked angering his current employers even further by remembering the match as his favourite moment in football.

"The best memory in a locker room? Ahhh... I don't know... Well, when we won against PSG with Barcelona, it was completely... we all went crazy afterwards," Neymar told reporters.

"I believe it was the best possible feeling for all of us. What we felt when we scored the sixth goal, I never felt something like this. It was incredible."

Neymar was absent from PSG's first pre-season training session this summer, sparking more questions regarding his future at the Parc des Princes.
