Martin Montoya: 'Neymar could top La Liga scoring charts'

Martin Montoya tips Barcelona teammate Neymar to finish as top scorer in La Liga.

Barcelona defender Martin Montoya has tipped teammate Neymar to finish as La Liga's top scorer.

Neymar has netted five goals in his last two appearances for Barca, and Montoya believes that the Brazil star has the ability to win the Pichichi award for most goals in the domestic season.

"The media said Neymar couldn't score, but he answered [them] in the last two games," Montoya told reporters.

"If he keeps it up, he'll be fighting to be top scorer. Neymar is happy here and helping us a lot - it's as if he's been a part of the group for a long time."

Barca are currently top of La Liga.
