Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino does not believe that 100 points will be enough for the Catalan giants to retain their Primera Division title this season.
The Blaugrana sit level on points with Atletico and Real Madrid at the summit of the league table, with the Blancos having played a game more.
The reigning champions amassed 100 points under the stewardship of Tito Vilanova and Jordi Roura last season, but Martino believes that his side may have to better that total this time around in order to trump their Madrid counterparts to glory.
He told reporters at a press conference: "Last season, 100 points was enough to be champions.
"There's the possibility that we need to add more this season if our opponents continue at this pace. It's very possible that three teams end up very tight."
Barcelona face an away trip to Levante this evening.
