Barcelona's Andres Iniesta has said that they are 'playing as well as ever', despite criticism that the Catalan club aren't performing to the same level as recent seasons.
Celta Vigo forward Nolito said recently that Barcelona's level of performance has dropped in the early stages of the current campaign, but the La Liga champions are still top of the Spanish league.
Iniesta, who has spent his entire career at the Camp Nou, believes that Barcelona are still playing to a consistently high level.
"There are matches with good phases and bad phases," the 29-year-old told the club's official website.
"We're counting nearly all of our games as victories and that should give us confidence to improve and keep on winning games. We're playing just as well as we always have. I don't have the impression that we're playing poorly.
"Everything can be improved and we need to keep on growing. We don't lack intensity or the right attitude in this team."
Iniesta recently stated that he will sign a new deal with Barcelona.
