On-loan Barcelona teenager Gerard Deulofeu out for a "few weeks" for Everton

Everton confirm that Gerard Deulofeu will be out until the New Year with a hamstring injury.

Everton have confirmed that Gerard Deulofeu will be out until the New Year with a hamstring injury.

The on-loan Barcelona midfielder, 19, suffered the injury during Saturday's 4-1 win over Fulham.

Everton confirmed on their official website on Monday that he will now miss "a few weeks" with the injury, stating: "Scans have now shown the extent of the soft tissue injury in his right hamstring, which is likely to keep him out for a few weeks."

Deulofeu has scored twice in 12 Premier League appearances for the Toffees.
