Sergio Aguero made his unofficial debut for Barcelona on Wednesday and found the back of the net in the behind-closed-door friendly against Cornella.
The Argentina international is yet to make his first-team debut for the Catalan giants, having suffered a serious calf injury before the start of the 2021-22 campaign.
Aguero has recently stepped up his recovery in training, though, and according to Marca, he played 30 minutes of Wednesday's friendly at the Joan Gamper training complex, finding the back of the net in the process.
The report claims that Philippe Coutinho scored the other goal in the 2-2 draw, with the first-team players not on international duty featuring in the friendly contest.
Aguero is believed to be in contention to make the squad against Valencia on Sunday, where he could play in La Liga for the first time since leaving Atletico Madrid in 2011.
The 33-year-old, who has a contract with Ronald Koeman's side until June 2023, left Manchester City on a free transfer at the end of last season.
