Barcelona confirm Sandro Ramirez injury

A hamstring injury will keep Barcelona attacker Sandro Ramirez on the sidelines for the next 'six to seven weeks'.

Barcelona attacker Sandro Ramirez will miss the next 'six to seven weeks' with a hamstring problem.

The 20-year-old, who has made 20 first-team appearances for Barcelona this season, was strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in January, but ultimately remained at Camp Nou.

The Spaniard will be unavailable for selection until late April, however, after injuring his hamstring during a training session, according to a statement released by his La Liga club.

Sandro has scored three times for Barcelona this season, but has fallen behind fellow youngster Munir El Haddadi in the pecking order over the last couple of months.
