Cristian Tello hat-trick sees Barcelona thrash Levante

Barcelona secure a 4-1 win away at Levante in the Copa del Rey quarter-final first leg at the Ciudad de Valencia.

Barcelona have beaten Levante 4-1 in tonight's Copa del Rey first-leg clash at the Estadi Ciudad de Valencia.

The home side took the lead just after the half-hour mark, Nabil El Zhar latching on to a loose ball inside the Barca box before converting.

The visitors then equalised courtesy of an own goal early in the second half, Loukas Vyntra attempting to clear following a loose parry from Javi Jimenez, but succeeding only in hitting the clearance straight at Juanfran, before the ball then bounced into the bottom corner.

Barcelona took the lead on the hour, as Lionel Messi fed a pass through to Cristian Tello, who then cut inside and fired his effort into the top corner.

Tello would net two more goals in the final 10 minutes, securing his hat-trick as well as a dynamic win for Barca.
