Alex Song expects Barcelona to beat Celtic

Alex Song thinks that Barcelona will definitely beat Celtic tonight if they play to their full potential as they aim to book their place in the Champions League knockout stages.

Alex Song has confidently declared that Barcelona will beat Celtic tonight if they play to their full potential.

Barca needed a last-gasp goal from Jordi Alba to beat Neil Lennon's side a fortnight ago after Celtic held on valiantly for long spells at the Nou Camp.

Song has praised the atmosphere at Celtic Park ahead of tonight's clash but believes that Hoops fans will go home disappointed at full-time.

He told reporters: "If we play like we play then no-one can beat us. That's the way we go into every game. We know it will be a tough game, but that is our thinking ahead of this one.

"We know it will not be easy, but we just have to try and win, that's the only aim for us. If you win the three points then we know we have qualified. That's very important for us.

"The atmosphere [at Celtic] was very good, I remember it well. The fans here love their football and we're happy to be here to play for them."

Tito Vilanova's men can secure their place in the Champions League knockout stages with victory over the Scottish champions.
