Eusebio Sacristan leaves Barcelona B

Barcelona sack Eusebio Sacristan as head coach of their B side, with Jordi Vinyals appointed as his replacement.

Jordi Vinyals has replaced Eusebio Sacristan as the new head coach of Barcelona B.

The Catalan outfit's second team have struggled for form this season, with Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Real Zaragoza leaving them in 17th position in the Segunda.

Eusebio had been in charge of Barca B since 2011 but has now been removed, along with his assistant Pep Munoz.

Vinyals, who was in charge of the club's Juvenil A side, will oversee his first match at home to Deportivo Alaves on Saturday.
