Preview: Atletico Madrid vs. Valencia

Sports Mole previews Valencia's trip to Atletico Madrid on Sunday.

Atletico Madrid will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches when they host Valencia on Sunday.

Diego Simeone's side are joint-top of La Liga with Barcelona following their 2-0 victory at Elche a fortnight ago.

Valencia have dropped to ninth in the standings after winning just two of their last six league matches.

The visitors come into the match off the back of a goalless draw with Gimnastic in the Copa del Rey last Sunday.

Atletico enjoyed success in the same competition last weekend when they beat Sant Andreu 4-0.

Valencia coach Miroslav Dukic has no fresh injury concerns and could name the same side that started against Gimnastic.

Atletico midfielder Mario Suarez will miss out through injury, so Tiago is expected to take his place in the side.
