Preview: Atletico Madrid vs. Granada

Sports Mole previews the match between Atletico Madrid and Granada at Vicente Calderon.

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone must decide between Mario Mandzukic and Fernando Torres for his side's fixture with Granada.

Torres staked his claim for a La Liga start by netting a double against Real Madrid on Thursday night, but Mandzukic could be available after missing the match at the Bernabeu through illness.

Miguel Angel Moya is likely to be recalled in goal, Jose Gimenez could return to replace Miranda at the heart of the defence, while Gabi and Arda Turan should also feature.

Los Rojiblancos have suffered defeat in two of their last four La Liga matches, leaving the club four points behind leaders Real.

Granada make the trip to the Vicente Calderon having failed to win any of their last 14 league matches, with the run leaving the team two points away from safety.

The Nazaries earned a 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad last weekend, but a heavy defeat to Sevilla in the Copa del Rey has lowered morale ahead of their encounter with the defending champions.

Darwin Machis has joined Ruben Rochina, Jeison Murillo, Luis Martins and Jhon Cordoba on the sidelines after suffering an injury in midweek.
