Deportivo La Coruna came from behind to secure a point in a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid on Friday evening.
Victory for Atletico would have taken them temporarily to the top of La Liga, and the visitors led for long spells of the contest due to Tiago's first-half effort.
Lucas Perez levelled the scores in the 77th minute, however, to leave Atletico third in the table. Depor, meanwhile, remain sixth following a strong start to the campaign.

DEPORTIVO
Goal
German Lux: Did not have an awful lot to do for long spells, but made a vital save from Antoine Griezmann late in the first period and was also positive from high balls into the box. (6/10)
Defence
Laure: Struggled to deal with Yannick Ferreira Carrasco in the first period as the Belgian caused problems in a wide area, but the right-back had a solid second half until he departed late on. (6/10)
Alberto Lopo: Brought back into the XI to provide more of a presence in defence and that was a decision that paid dividends. Alongside Sidnei, put in a solid performance for the home team. (7/10)
Sidnei: Had an excellent game at the heart of the defence. Jackson Martinez had a very tough game against the Brazilian centre-back, who marshalled his back four at the Riazor. (8/10)
Fernando Navarro: Used all of his experience to deal with Antoine Griezmann, who had one of his poorest games of the season. Not much going forward, but solid in defensive areas. (7/10)
Midfield
Celso Borges: Was not really seen in the final third of the field, but did an excellent job of protecting his back four. Like a number of his teammates, improved as the match developed. (7/10)
Pedro Mosquera: Made the move from Elche in the summer and has impressed in the early part of the campaign. It was more of the same here as he showed his calmness in possession. (7/10)
Faycal Fajr: Came close to winning it late on with a super strike from distance, but his effort rattled the crossbar. Quiet first half, but was highly involved in the second 45 minutes of action. (7/10)
Attack
Fede Cartabia: Struggled to make his mark in what was a difficult first period for Depor, but the Argentine was full of life after the break and tested Jan Oblak with a couple of decent efforts. (7/10)
Lucas Perez: Once again the go-to man for Deportivo as he levelled the scores with his sixth league goal of the season. Gave Atletico's defence absolute nightmares with his constant movement. (8/10)
Jonas Gutierrez: Looked a touch off the pace in the early stages on his full debut, but put in a high-energy performance in the second period, which made him popular with the home supporters. (6/10)
Substitutes
Luis Alberto: Difficult to say that the Spaniard made a big impression in the final 20 minutes, but the attacker gave Atletico something else to think about and his use of the ball was also intelligent. (6/10)
Juanfran: Would have been disappointed not to have been given the nod to start, but the right-sided player was full of energy and running in the final 15 minutes of action at the Riazor. (6/10)

Goal
Jan Oblak: Had his feet up in the first period, but was forced into action in the early stages of the second and made a couple of smart stops. Could do nothing with Deportivo's equaliser. (6/10)
Defence
Juanfran: Set up a couple of decent chances in the first period, but was not really seen as an attacking threat in the second 45 minutes. Part of a back four that had some problems on the night. (6/10)
Diego Godin: Gave away a penalty last weekend and was also a little rash here. Should have scored from a close-range header in the first half and found Lucas difficult to handle. (6/10)
Jose Gimenez: It was the 20-year-old's poor mistake that led to Lucas levelling the scores. Dallied on the ball by the goal-line and the home side's leading scorer nipped in to equalise. (5/10)
Filipe Luis: Had plenty of chances to get forward throughout the match, but the Brazilian's delivery from a wide area was not always the best. Nothing much wrong, but not his best game. (6/10)
Midfield
Koke: Showed bits and pieces of his undoubted quality, but faded in the second period when Deportivo started to turn the screw. Still looks a little short of full fitness following his injury problems. (6/10)
Gabi: Had a comfortable evening for long spells as he kept things simple in the middle of the park, but the skipper could not take his team to the next level when they needed it most. (6/10)
Tiago: Opened the scoring with a super finish late in the first period and set the entire tempo for his team from the middle of the park. Was the player sacrificed late on for Fernando Torres. (7/10)
Attack
Yannick Ferreira Carrasco: Had an excellent first period as he caused all sorts of problems in a wide area and the Belgian also helped set up Tiago's opener. Surprisingly replaced just after the hour mark. (7/10)
Jackson Martinez: Largely struggled to make his mark. Could not get the better of Sidnei for long spells and it came as no surprise when the Colombian was replaced for the final 20 minutes of action. (6/10)
Antoine Griezmann: One of his poorest games in an Atletico shirt. Missed an excellent chance late in the first period and was really sloppy in possession. Some way short of his best form. (6/10)
Substitutes
Angel Correa: Was introduced just past the hour as Diego Simeone looked to freshen his team, but the Argentine did not see much of the ball due to Deportivo's rise in performance. (6/10)
Saul Niguez: Replaced the disappointing Martinez in the 72nd minute as Atletico looked to shut down the game at 1-0, but five minutes after his introduction, the home team were on terms. (6/10)
Fernando Torres: Was not brought on until the 82nd minute and therefore had little time to make a serious impression. Will feel that he deserves to start ahead of Martinez next time out. (6/10)
