Antonio Barragan: 'We can beat Atletico Madrid'

Valencia defender Antonio Barragan backs his side to beat Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon at the weekend.

Valencia defender Antonio Barragan believes that his side can overcome Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon at the weekend.

Atletico have lost just once in all competitions this season, while they have a perfect record on their home patch. However, Barragan is confident that an upset can be caused in the Spanish capital.

"We're going there with the mentality of getting a win, having a good game and to show who we are at the Calderon. We're going there with the mentality of getting three points," he told reporters at a press conference.

Atletico currently sit second in La Liga – level on points with leaders Barcelona – while Valencia sit ninth following a disappointing start to the season.
